The Dominance War is finally over and I finished! This was a ton of fun and a great learning experience. I plan to keep doing competitions like this in the future as long as time will allow. Here's the link to my DW thread where you can see my work in progress. Enjoy!

Project X

So I've spent the last six months or so art directing a short film titled "The Offering." No release date yet, but maybe sometime around the holidays. So far, it has been an awesome ride and I can't wait until it's release. Hopefully, it will put Cogswell on the map and bless the small group of people who are working on it. Here is some stuff that I did at the beginning of all this. Enjoy.

Portrait Sculpture

This is a self portrait of me as a lionfish. The fins are made of thin sheets of acrylic and the spines are fake plant leaves that have been modified. Don't know where I got the idea to use fake plants...I often look for random objects in the world whether it be in a store or in nature to use on my sculptures. It helps speed up the process(sometimes) and adds a unique characteristic to each piece.



Old Personal Project
This one took me about three to four weeks to finish due to all the detail stuff, but overall I'm happy with it. The candles are actually LED's and and use to light up, but I didn't anticipate the sulfur-based clay destroying the connections! I recently won an award for this piece so thank you to all who voted for me.
